I see myself in every single child in every adoptee or child in foster care. I know how great, unique and gifted each child is. I know the limitless potential each child has. I also know the importance of unconditional love and having someone walk with you, believing in you, and never giving up on you.”

Meet Michael

The Give and Care Foundation was founded by Michael Bratsch to benefit youth in Foster Care or Adoption. Michael understands the importance of having a permanent family because he was adopted out of Foster Care at an early age into a loving home. Michael wants all kids to feel the same unconditional love he was blessed with. He believes this can be done by investing in children’s lives through mentoring, volunteer work, and providing resources. Also, through partnerships with other organizations that work directly with kids and families and focus on the placement and ultimate goal of finding forever families.

Michael Bratsch graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with a BA in Education and also holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Concordia. Currently, Michael has spent 20+ years educating youth in Minneapolis Public Schools. He serves on the board of directors at Trinity First Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN. He has been featured on Good Morning America, NBC Nightly News, Kare 11, Fox 9, and CNN for his work and positive impact on the students he works with.

A positive voice for the Foster Care and Adoption community, he provides speaking engagements and consulting for organizations and families considering Adoption or Foster Care at no cost.
